The Email subscription widget is an important part of any blog, it helps your readers to subscribe and follow your blog's latest updates directly in their email.

Until recently I thought the subscription box was not for regular bloggers, but as soon as I added the follow by email widget; I got over 100 subscribers within a month. I know that is not a huge deal, but for a really new blog like mine only 1.5 month old, that 100 subscribers is a huge number.

Although BlogSpot has a widget for subscribe to Blogger, the Email Subscription widget looks ugly and unpolished. It does not look not even close to those beautiful email subscription widget found in other popular blogs.

I will show you step by step on how to add blogger email subscription widget to your blog. But before you start installing the new gadget you need to setup a Feed in Feedburner. It's easy process but if you have doubts then

Setting up the Feedburner –

• Visit Feedburner.google.com and make an account if you don't have already.

Ok so now that you have activated the feed, it is time to install the subscribe widget for blogger.

• Go to the Blogger Dashboard.
• Select Layout.
• Click Add a Gadget.
• From the pop-up window choose HTML/JavaScript.
• Add the code you got from the Feedburner.
• Save it & you are practically done.

So the next time when you open your blog the subscribe to blogger widget will be visible and ready for business. Before completely closing I recommend you to test and play around with it for some time to make sure everything is working as it's supposed to be.
